Wireless Workplace was selected by one of the leading global consulting firms, Atos Origin, for work on a biometric data project for the UK Government's Passport Office. As part of the project, Atos Origin identified a requirement to implement high bandwidth wireless networks in 12 city-centre locations throughout the country, and tasked Wireless Workplace with carrying out detailed RF surveys of the proposed sites and making recommendations as to the design and configuration of wireless systems required. Archie Stevenson of Atos commented, "Wireless Workplace demonstrated a high level of expertise in their field and throughout produced extremely high quality deliverables that contributed to the success of the project. I can confidently recommend Wireless Workplace as a reliable and competent supplier, and experts in their field." With Friday’s governmental endorsement of regions providing
wireless services, the frequency and amount of wireless city-centre and municipal building
projects is set to increase. Wireless Workplace’s expertise in this field is currently allowing
them to assist other governmental bodies with their wireless planning and deployment, making
their respective areas "work without wires..." For further information, please contact: Andrew Doe, Managing Director Tel: 0870 754 3894 |
