Wirelessworkplace to present at 802.11b
Wi-Fi conference

Wireless Workplace Ltd, today announces that
it is to present at the 802.11b Wi-Fi conference.
Wirelessworkplace is pleased to announce
that it is to present at the forthcoming 802.11b Wi-Fi conference in London,
endorsed by WLANA, the Wireless LAN Association and OFDM Forum, organised
by IIR Conferences and taking place from 6th to 8th February 2002.
Andrew Doe, Founder of Wirelessworkplace
will present a paper as part of the conference's sessions on tracking
the evolution to 5GHz solutions. The presentation, entitled "Examining
the end-user perspective: is the market ready for 802.11a" will look at
the theory and the reality of the end-user perspective and present some
insights into the opportunities and challenges that the wireless industry
faces as it seeks to move beyond the well-established standard of 802.11b.
Andrew Doe has more than 15 years digital business
experience, most recently as a consultant, senior manager and entrepreneur.
He has a degree in Electronic Engineering from Southampton University
and an MBA from INSEAD. He is a professionally qualified Chartered Engineer
(C.Eng.), a Member of the Institution of Electrical Engineers (MIEE) and
a member of the IEE's Multimedia Communications Professional Network.
He is also a member of the Sainsbury Management Fellows (SMF), an organisation
supported by Lord Sainsbury of Turville, Science Minister, which promotes
British engineers in industry.
